The Girls

Here’s the girls – we had so much fun! Shopping, pedicures, sushi, pool, wine – what more could you ask for?? It’s amazing to have friendships that can stand the test of time – and I feel so lucky to have these fabulous women in my life.

VACATION!!

Well, I’m leaving tomorrow for my FIRST girl’s weekend since my daughter was born. I have been so excited about going and then yesterday I started feeling very anxious about leaving my baby. What will she think? Will she be sad? It’s a strange feeling – and I really didn’t expect to feel this way at all. Of course, I will miss my husband too – but it makes it easier that he understands that I AM coming back.

These are the girls I’m visiting – they look like fun right? We all went to junior high/high school together and have kept in touch over the years. Each one of them has a special place in my heart. There is one more girl that’s missing – she couldn’t make it to the wedding – but I promise to post some pictures when I get back. This was in September 2004 – and yes – that’s me in all of my wedding glory:)— the day I married the very best guy on the planet!

And this is just another cutie pic of my baby (toddler) that I took yesterday when she was dipping her graham crackers in the milk – and asking for more.

I’ll be back on Monday – have a great weekend!

Oh the chubby rolls and spit bubbles!

I found another picture that I just love. This was in July of LAST YEAR! I can’t believe how much my sweet little baby has changed! Now she is full of tantrums and crazy antics.

I gave my camera to my friend Denise to take a picture – she should be a photographer don’ t you think??

All booked up!!

Well – I’m excited to say that I am completely booked for weekends through mid September! It has been so incredible how fast things have taken off for my business. I really appreciate all the referrals and kind words from everyone. Sometimes life is such a surprise – taking turns that you never expect.

Which brings me to the picture below. My baby – when she was just minutes old. Obviously she wasn’t a surprise (9 months of carrying her around gave it away), but how she changed my life has been the biggest surprise of all. I feel so fortunate to be able to spend every day with her. I am so grateful for my husband, who works so hard to provide for our family. The time is going so fast – why does it go so fast as you get older????

Anyway – talk about surprises – she doesn’t look too happy about her “surprise entry” into this bright new world does she?

Picture courtesy of my husband or sister in law?? I don’t know, I was passed out somewhere after the C-Section at this point!:)

The twins again!

Soooooo sweet. They are so young and they can hold their own bottles!! I don’t know how mom handles the load – but she always has a smile. They are such a wonderful family!
