proud parent

Yes, this is a post about my daughter.   I was going through some pictures and I’m just amazed at how fast she is growing up.   She never stops talking – which is a joy and a curse all at the same time.  It seems to happen overnight – and before you know it they are blurting out something that you just said (and probably shouldn’t have) – which is hysterical (and a curse at the same time).   She wants to do everything herself and even if she’s not doing it herself it better be done HER WAY!  I really don’t know where she gets the stubborness from……

Anyway – we did a family trip to the Atlanta Botanical Garden today.  I’m not a big nature/flower/plant lover - but it was still fun and interesting – and something else to do besides be at home!

This first picture is hysterical – and maybe a tad bit embarrassing.  We were sitting on the bench (resting) and this older couple walks by and the man points to our daughter with a smile and says “cute”!  We weren’t really paying attention to what Kylie was doing on the other end of the bench – but here you can see the view…..

This was another one from today – I thought it was cute…

And these were from a week or two ago – Kylie went outside with me and let me take a few pictures.  She’s getting more and more “camera friendly” lately.  FUN!!!

baby “k” has arrived….

…and she is oh-so-sweet!  These are her 9-day-old pictures and look how perfect her skin looks!  Mom and Dad are good friends of ours, and their son is Kylie’s boyfriend…. :)   Little miss “k” slept through just about everything and hardly made a fuss at all.  We had a great time – although trying to get big brother to take a picture will little sister was quite the challenge.  That’s where the lollipop comes in…..

Enjoy a few previews – first up – a cute little smile!

I just love the close ups – look at those little eyelashes and sweet little lips.

One of only 2 or 3 good pictures that I managed to get of big brother with his little sister.

Oh, the amazing blue eyes!

such a small world

You just never know who you know – you know what I mean? :)   I had so much fun with this family this morning.  They were a referral from another client of mine and they just happen to live right up the street from me!  Then we got to talking, and we know several of the same people and they even attended my friend’s wedding where I was the “wedding singer”.

Anyway – this little cutie pie was born 4 weeks early!  She’s 5 weeks old and she was so good – she hardly made a fuss about anything.  Mom and Dad are so in love with their newest addition – I love it!

Here’s a few previews – I know Mom is anxious to see some of the pictures.  I love this first one of Mom and little miss “H”.  She has the cutest little butterfly mobile hanging in the nursery and miss “H” was lifting her head trying to get a good look at it.

Isn’t this the greatest Dad shot?  He’s sitting in his “Man Chair” with the little girl that will soon have him wrapped around her finger…..

Aren’t they so cute!

I love this picture.  Mom and I had talked about doing some note cards since she already has birth announcements.  I thought this would be so fun & cute.

More holiday cards….

I’m soooo excited about these designs!  I love the modern, yet elegant flare!  They each have a blue/brown or a red/green color theme and they have optional back sides – for those of you that have more to say – or want to include more pictures.  If you opt to do a one-sided design, we can add names/date, etc to the front of the cards.

Here’s some samples – showing both color options.  I have more cards and I’m planning to make a sample sheet that I can email to you when you’re trying to decide on your design.

This first one is a 5×5 design – the rest are 5×7 size.

baby “j” is growing up!

Oh what fun – he’s getting so big!  This is one of my baby planners and we had a great session today.   I got so many cute faces from this little guy – it was impossible for me to pick just a couple to share.   He really was a trooper too – we dressed him three times, had him naked twice, put him in a basket and even up on the cat play-tree-house thing - you name it – we did it!  He was tired by the end for sure.

Enjoy!  And if you want to see some of his newborn pics click HERE.

I LOVE this one – such a cute little grin!

I had to include this picture.  This was towards the end and baby J had just about had enough.  So funny!

And, for Dad, Georgia Bull Dogs are number one!!!!  (according to Dad – not me – I really have no opinion at all because I’m from California and we don’t pay any attention to college football there – so please don’t send me any love/hate mail!)
