Sorry, sorry, sorry…..

We have been on vacation and I realized that I didn’t tell my blog readers that I would be gone for a while.  It was so much fun – but also exhausting.  Now we need a vacation to recover from the vacation.   We went with three other couples for a total of 8 adults and FIVE TODDLERS!  That should explain the exhaustion.:)  We had a gorgeous 6 bedroom, 6 bathroom house in Litchfield Beach, SC with a pool too!  Needless to say we enjoyed being with our good friends and sharing such a special time – lots of memories made.

Anyway, I promise to get back to my bloggin self in the near future but here’s a picture to hold you over.  I will post some more vacation pictures later – but I have to admit they will all be from my handy Canon Digital Point & Shoot Camera.  I didn’t even break out the “beast” once during our week there – too lazy.

I don’t usually publish (or even keep) pictures of me in a bathing suit – but this was just so sweet.  Kylie was pretty nervous around the ocean at first – but after a couple days she liked getting in the little waves near the shore.  She came to sit next to me and was holding my hand so I hollered at asked Jeff to grab my camera and take a picture.  This was just one of those moments I will remember forever.

baby planner graduate!

I really can’t believe this little sweety is already ONE!!  The time just flies by so fast!  I will say, this was our most challenging session yet.  She was on the move and absolutely NOT interested in looking at me AT ALL.   Just like all the other one-year-olds out there – she had better things to do than be a model!

She’s such a sweety, I’m going to miss seeing her every few months.  Take a look at some previous pictures HERE.

I know, I can hear all of you out there – “I can’t believe you took a picture of her crying AND put it on the blog!”  But honestly, anyone who has a one-year-old will understand, two seconds before and after this picture she was perfectly content.  I just can’t resist the raw and extreme emotions of these little ones.  It’s so real and honest.  I mean, this is how I feel sometimes and I wish I could just let it all out!  She was upset because mommy took the candle that she was trying to eat.  After a few seconds, she forgot about the candle and ate the cake instead! :)  Happy Birthday miss “M”.
