double the fun | atlanta family photography

I’m so glad I got to meet these two sweet girls – but also so sad they are soon moving across the country to California (and a little jealous too!).  The weather was beautiful and we had an awesome time at the park.  Can’t you just see how much they adore each other?  At the end of our session Miss “P” dropped her lollipop and Miss “H” said – “It’s okay, you can have mine.”  It’s even cuter in her little 2-year-old voice.  :)

Enjoy a sneak peak…

sibling love | atlanta family photography

I really enjoy capturing and observing the relationships between siblings – especially now that I have a girl AND a boy of my own.  This young man was as cool as a cucumber.  He tried REALLY hard not to give me any smiles.  It didn’t matter though, he’s handsome whether he’s smiling, grinning or looking serious.  He’s gonna be a heartbreaker for sure!!  His little sister was full of energy, smiles, funny faces and giggles – such a sweetheart.  Miss “A” is 5 years old and Mr. “M” is 8 years old – three years apart, just like my kids.

Love it!

Don’t they look so sweet here?  Like they actually love each other right??  :)

Of course, the picture above was RIGHT before I told Miss “A” to give Mr. “M” a big kiss on the cheek.  This is what happened next!  I don’t think big brother could think of anything worse than a kiss from his little sister!  He was probably thinking “that mean photographer lady – jeesh!”.  I just couldn’t resist!  After she kissed him (as you can see from the grimace on his face in the last picture) she looked at me and said “did you get it?”  LOL funny right??

all grown up | atlanta family photography

He’s only one, but to me he seems so grown up – and it happened so fast.  This was Mr. G’s One Year Session, the final in a series, and he could not have been happier.  Watching an itty-bitty-baby grow up into a toddler right before my eyes will never cease to be amazing.  This was a unique session because although Mr. G is “toddling”, he prefers to snuggle with Mom and Dad so I was able to capture so many sweet family shots.  Usually my one-year-olds are constantly “toddling” away from me so this was a VERY pleasant afternoon.  Not to mention that Mom and Dad are so relaxed and they LOVE pictures – so we just go with the flow and hang out like we’ve known each other for years.

The classic shot – just look at his tiny little fingers and rosy lips…. so cute!

This is the third in a series of our “kiss” shots.  You can see some previous ones HERE.  He’s cracking me up with his tongue sticking out!

And one just for Mom.  She saw my “giraffe print” green prop on the blog and asked me to bring it so we could find something fun to do.  This was actually right before we gave him his birthday cupcake, which he proceded to put his foot in.  And that was the end of that!  :)   Maybe he’s gonna be more of a “salty” guy!

Happy Birthday Mr. G!!  Can’t wait to see you again!

beautiful girl | atlanta family photography

I have only seen Miss “M” once since our session last year and I was just in awe of how beautiful she is.  Of course, she was beautiful before, but it’s always so amazing to me to see how much a child changes in such a short time.  She is full of spunk and tom-boy character, but she has these amazing blue eyes and flowing blonde hair.  Such a sweetheart.

We had a lovely time and Miss “M” even survived THREE outfit changes with no fuss at all.   Here’s a quick preview….

She really loved my chair – but wasn’t going for the umbrella…  :)
