Maybe it’s time to take a class that will answer these questions, and so many more!
This class is meant for anyone that has a Digital SLR Camera and wants to learn the basics of how to use it (besides just the AUTO mode). You will get my 10 simple tips for getting better pictures of your kids and I will explain the basics of Exposure, Shutter Speed, ISO, Aperture, and White Balance. Photography is an art form that takes many years to master, so nobody can expect to learn it all in three hours. But in this class, I intend to make things as simple as possible so that you can begin to use the some of the important features of your camera that allow for beautiful, real-time pictures of your children. You will receive a printed booklet outlining the class, allowing you to return to your notes in the future as well. Classes are limited in size (usually 5-7 people) to allow for individual questions and group discussions.

Click-Tips Mini Sessions
- Have you taken classes before and then you forgot what you learned, or worse, you got home and couldn’t duplicate what you were taught?
- Do you learn better by “doing” rather than “seeing”?
- Have you learned a little about your camera, but you still struggle to get that great shot of your kids?
This is your chance to practice with a professional photographer and get some hands-on knowledge about taking better pictures.
Once you’ve learned some classroom basics, you’ll want to put your new skills into action! The Click-Tips Mini Sessions are a fabulous way to practice and build on the foundation of the Click-Tips Class. We will meet at a designated location and we will “shoot” your kids together while I show you some expert tricks and help you capture fun images of your own children. We will discuss how to use the available light and how to choose an appropriate background, and (most importantly) how to get your kids to participate. 
Each mini-session is approximately 45 minutes long. This time will be broken up by shooting, questions, discussion & direction from me. Of course, all of the images you take with your camera during your mini session are yours to keep, but I will also choose my favorite three images (that I took) from the mini-session and you will receive fully edited 5×7 digital files of these three images to keep for personal use.
