How it works

Fun!  That’s what we are going to have!  I can’t wait to get to know you!  It begins with a detailed questionnaire so I can find out more about you and your family.  We can meet for coffee, you can come to my studio, or we can talk on the phone if you prefer.  We’ll discuss what style of images you are looking for and what you want your love story to be about.  Once you confirm your session, you will have access to the exclusive clients section of my website.  This is a valuable resource that will help you prepare for your Custom Photography Session and also includes a detailed “what to wear” guide with shopping recommendations.

Sessions usually last 1-2 hours – but that depends on you and your child(ren).  I photograph newborns and babies at my studio.  For everyone else, we will choose a location that fits our objectives. Outside is always preferred.  Be prepared to laugh, make silly faces, lay on the the ground, hug and kiss — remember, this is YOUR love story!

Soon after your session I will post a couple images on my website for you to enjoy until you can see your finished gallery.  When I am finished hand-crafting all of your images, I will contact you to set up your personal ordering session.  You’ll want to have a babysitter for this exciting event!  Your images will be projected on the big screen and you’ll be able to touch and feel all of our beautiful portrait products — keepsake LoveStory Books, Luxury Frames, Fine Art Canvas and our stunning Boxes of Love!  We are able to show you the real size of your finished portrait on the wall, so it’s a great idea to have wall & furniture measurements ready so we can assist you in making your design decisions.  All of our products are luxurious, archival, pieces of art.

Your portraits will take several weeks to arrive, then your personal Love Story will be enjoyed by you and future generations for many years to come!
