Monday Love

Another edition of Monday Love…..

A Quote: Friendship isn’t a big thing – it’s a million little things.  ~Author Unknown

Something Personal:  We had an action-packed weekend – spent almost entirely with friends.  On Friday night we enjoyed pizza with my friend (and fellow photographer) Lisa Phillipson and her kiddos.  On Saturday, I did a wonderful session with one of my fabulous clients and then continued on to spend the day/evening with friends at Chateau Elan.  Jeff, Kylie, and Jake spent all day Saturday with our neighborhood friends – bagels, playground, bike riding, and playdate.  All of this was followed by a Daddy-daughter date night at Yo Gabba Gabba on Sunday!  Whew!  We’re all exhausted!  But, it’s all of these little moments that add up to the amazing thing we call LIFE.  We are grateful for so many close relationships, and so many people to call our friends.  A few pictures from the weekend…..

Jake and Kate – enjoying their own private dining table!

If you’ve never been to the Chateau Elan Spa – YOU MUST GO!  They have a restaurant where you can eat in your robe!  The ladies FORBADE me from posting any “post-spa-treatment” photos – so, you can see them in the background….

Here’s the group.  We were celebrating our friend Morgan, who will (sniff-sniff) soon be moving to Dallas.  This is such a wonderful group of ladies, and friends.  It’s amazing to me that we all live in the same neighborhood, started our families together, and have created the kinds of bonds that can be difficult to attain as an adult.  Love them!  (For my photog friends out there, this was taken at 6400 ISO (eek) with NO FLASH – in almost total darkness!  Pretty cool though!)

I was so proud of Jeff for taking pictures while he was out on Saturday.  Some of the hubbies took the kids to Piedmont Park to ride bikes while the ladies were gone.  Jake & Kylie – so cute!

And finally, Daddy & Kylie right before they left for their date night.

A cool shopping findThe bilibo!  I just bought two of these (one for each kid) and they are so fun!  It’s kind of like letting them play with a cardboard box – we (adults) have no idea why it’s so entertaining, but to a kid there are endless possibilities!  You can buy them online – and also at B. Braithwaite as featured on the NAPCP Blog!

A Peek:  Another one of my new product offerings – the Lovely Frame.  I’m in love with this because of the sweet shape and subtle colors – which are customizeable.  This one is a framed 10×20 mounted print – no glass (which I love).  The birth details are detailed below the image – a modern “baby collage” for the nursery.  🙂

Happy Monday!!!

Lisa Phillipson Love that 6400 picture. Glad you had a great time (I’m jealous). And, I also love that frame WITHOUT glass. 😉
